Lisa Lu, M.S., PPSC

As a first generation college student, Ms. Lisa understands the challenge of preparing for college and aspires to help students and parents simplify the process by providing information, guidance, and support. As a college counselor, she seeks to understand the needs of each student and provides an individualized plan to help them achieve their goals. 

With a Bachelor’s degree in English from UC Berkeley and a Masters degree in Counseling with a Pupil Personnel Services Credential (PPSC), Ms. Lisa has the education and training to effectively provide academic counseling. She has experience communicating and working with students of various ages and backgrounds. 

Ms. Lisa began providing college counseling in 2012 and has over 10 years of experience. She helps middle and high school students by providing guidance with class selection, activities and volunteering, summer planning, and college major preparation. For high school seniors, she helps with personal statement essays and applications, providing support and guidance through the entire process. She also helps college students plan and apply for graduate and medical programs.
